I'm truly passionate about sustainability and have a great love for being a self-taught artist. I enjoy turning fabrics reclaimed from old clothes and bedding into beautiful, meaningful art, which supports a circular economy. Growing up in the southern part of Mexico, surrounded by sugar cane plantations, I learned early on the value of recycling and reusing materials. After extracting sugar and other by-products, sugar cane pulp was often made into toilet paper, writing paper, and more.

I gather all my materials through trade, thrift shops, or donations, all with the hope of helping our landfills. I love collecting and repurposing everything from buttons, glass jars, and paper and plastic bags to yarn, fabric, partially used notebooks, and so much more. It’s a joyful way to make a positive difference!
